This dish was taught to me by my grandfather that we like to call, Papa K. It is a very elegant and tasteful dish to serve on a “date night” occasion.
ingredients:
- favorite beer (recommended Corona or Corona Light)
- 1 tbsp.-1 1/2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- basil
- Jumbo Raw shrimp
- Bow tie pasta
Directions:
Peal and wash shrimp, and lay them out on a dry towel.
Add olive oil, butter, garlic, and about just one light pour of beer, and a pinch of basil into a large frying pan and turn heat on medium. Also at that time, begin to boil water for the pasta.
To test if the pan is hot enough to add the shrimp, wet hands and drip on drop of water on the pan, if it sizzles, the pan is ready.
Add shrimp, let brown on each side.
Once the pasta is ready, drain the boiling water and add the pasta to the shrimp in the frying pan and stir around.
Serve in a bowl with your choice of warm bread.
ENJOY!
